IMPORTANT NOTES
- Points to be considered during the Mosque Visit on Abu Dhabi tours: Men must not wear shorts; women must not wear sleeveless tops, miniskirts, leggings or shorts; and long-sleeved cardigans and headscarves must be available for the mosque visit. Lunch is included in our tour.
- Points to be considered on our Desert Safari tour: Sportswear and comfortable clothing should be worn, and a cardigan should be brought. Heavy meals should not be eaten and excessive amounts of water should not be consumed before the tour. Guests with stomach, back or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, must inform their guides of their condition.
- To benefit from the Advantageous Excursion package prices on extra tours, the fee must be paid to the local agency representative during the tour.
- Extra tours take place with a minimum participation of 20 people. If participation is below 20 people, the tour prices may change or the tour may be operated by metro. Our guide may change the days of extra tours, provided that their content remains the same.
- Prices for extra tours may change depending on regional density or the period. The prices quoted by the guide at the time of purchase will apply to extra tours.
- When a booking is processed as VB in the tour program, or when only category information is provided without specifying a name and/or there are alternative options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
- In our programs, the guide will meet guests at the destination. The guiding service included in the package covers only the panoramic city tour and round-trip airport transfers. If extra tours are purchased, guiding services will also be provided. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pick-up time provided by the guide.
- Guests must inform the guide of cancellations or changes to extra tours at least 24 hours in advance. The cancellation and refund status of the extra tour requested for cancellation may vary depending on the local supplier's final decision.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified kilometers. In such a case, Holitera Turizm will provide information 2 days before the tour departure date.
- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting no more than 2-3 hours, organized for the general introduction of cities and conducted panoramically with the guide's commentary from inside the vehicle; they do not include entrance to museums or archaeological sites.
- Holitera Turizm is not responsible if panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program cannot take place because local authorities close the sites to be visited on the day and at the time of the tour, roads along the route are closed due to an event, or weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where roads are closed or vehicles are not permitted, to the extent possible.
- In our tour programs, the guide meets guests at the arrival airport. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pick-up time provided by the guide.
- The hotels listed in the program are offered for sale as such. Hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods. Therefore, a similar alternative hotel may be provided, and the hotel name is not guaranteed.
- We recommend that guests do not exchange large amounts of foreign currency so that they are not affected by exchange-rate differences. Old/worn foreign currency is not accepted by banks in the destinations. Therefore, extra tour reservations will not be processed using old-style foreign currency that banks will not accept.
- For extra tour purchases, the USD-EUR parity is applied equally because transactions at the relevant destination are made in USD.
- As our package tours are intended for international travel, guests are responsible for their own foreign language skills.
GENERAL TERMS
- At the time of reservation, it is mandatory to convey to guests the tour program and the general terms and obligations set out below. Holitera Turizm is not responsible for complaints that may arise within the scope of the information provided. Our guest is deemed to have read and accepted all items in advance.
- Guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passports if the date of issuance is more than 10 years ago. Otherwise, they may not be admitted to the country they are traveling to and/or their airline flight from Türkiye may not be operated. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger, and Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible in any way.
- To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or otherwise damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country requires a visa for Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
- Guest passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the return flight date. Otherwise, any impediment is the responsibility of the guests.
- Holitera Turizm acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right not to issue a visa when it deems necessary, and Holitera Turizm has no responsibility whatsoever regarding the passenger's inability to obtain a visa. Holitera Turizm only acts as an intermediary. Holitera Turizm has no obligation or responsibility in individual visa applications. Consumers have registered for the tour by accepting these terms.
- When Holitera Turizm applies for a visa as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate, the guest must check the accuracy of the information on the resulting visa. Holitera Turizm is not responsible for any incorrect spelling on the visa or for circumstances arising from this that may prevent boarding the flight.
- Under normal circumstances, obtaining the documents required by passengers who will apply for their own visas (hotel confirmation, flight ticket, etc.) takes 1 business day. Our guests must arrange their appointment dates and times accordingly, taking this period into consideration. Otherwise, Holitera Turizm is not responsible for any possible disruptions.
- If the guest cancels the reservation and/or does not or cannot participate in the relevant tour, the visa fee and service fee will not be refunded. If the guest obtained the visa and visa service through the Holitera Turizm Visa department and this visa service was specified as an additional service in the travel contract, and if Holitera Turizm cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, the guest may receive a refund of the amount remaining after excluding fees and similar amounts paid to consulates for the visa, provided that they present their passport within no later than 1 week after the visa expiry date to prove that they did not use the visa. If the guest obtained the visa through their own means and/or with the assistance of a different visa intermediary company and Holitera Turizm cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, no refund will be made to the guest.
- Routes may change depending on the city where the aircraft lands. The aircraft type and time may change, and since hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods, a similar alternative hotel may be provided. These circumstances were disclosed at the time of the contract, and THE PASSENGER PURCHASED THE TOUR BY ACCEPTING THE RISK OF A CHANGE IN FLIGHT TIME AND A HOTEL CHANGE.
- Triple rooms are provided depending on hotel availability. Triple rooms include an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed. Three separate beds cannot be guaranteed in triple rooms; if the hotel has a suitable room, the hotel will block it subject to availability.
- Child discounts are valid only for children staying with two adults.
- The breakfast served at the hotels is continental breakfast, not Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee, and fruit juice.
- Group breakfasts may be served in a separate room.
- During the reservation/registration, the first and last name as shown in the passport to be used for travel, date of birth and passport number must be provided and entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for cancellation or changes to flight tickets resulting from incorrect information are the responsibility of the guest.
- Regardless of whether our guests obtain it from Holitera Turizm, they are required to have overseas travel and health insurance beginning one day before the tour date and ending one day after the tour date, and to carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests who do not carry their travel insurance may be fined by the police of the relevant country. If such a fine is incurred because the guest did not carry the travel insurance, responsibility belongs to the guest.
- Due to diplomatic relations between countries, having entered or exited certain countries may result in being unable to obtain a visa for another or multiple countries or being unable to enter through a border gate. Since this situation is beyond Holitera Turizm' control, the parties acknowledge that Holitera Turizm bears no responsibility in such a case.
- Guests who do not wish to participate in tours conducted along the route for the purpose of providing the group with economic and time benefits agree to wait for the group at a nearby facility until the extra excursion ends. At the end of the excursion, our bus will pick up these guests and our tour will continue.
- Panoramic city tours are excursions organized to introduce the cities. City tours and extra excursions may be organized on different days, provided that their content does not change, or may not take place depending on weather conditions. In such a case, Holitera Turizm is obliged to offer our valued guests the most suitable alternative possible. Extra tours are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, extra tours may not take place or the price may change.
- Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not take place. Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible for the inability to conduct such excursions or tours.
- The aircraft seats in our programs are group seats and are issued as a single round-trip ticket. If the outbound flight is missed and/or not used, the return flight may also be automatically forfeited. The airline's rules apply in such cases.
- Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur on flights are displayed on information boards/screens at airports. This information must be followed by the passengers. If the flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the guest must purchase and pay for a new ticket themselves (if necessary, as a round-trip ticket according to the previous item). In addition, they may partially or completely miss the first day's program because they missed the group's departure; responsibility in this case belongs to the guest. Furthermore, if they travel to the relevant city/country on a flight different from the group's, airport-city or airport-hotel transportation is the guest's responsibility.
- Guests wishing to upgrade their flight tickets using miles may do so only if there is availability on the relevant flight of the airline after the tickets have been issued. Since the aircraft seats in our programs are in the group class, if availability exists, it may be necessary to pay the difference specified by the airline and move the ticket from the group class to the economy class eligible for an upgrade before performing the upgrade. Any price difference arising in this case is the guest's responsibility. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the tour departure.
- To use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Türkiye, you must check with your GSM operator whether your line is open for international calls and roaming.
- When temporarily or permanently leaving the means of transportation you use and the hotels where you stay during your journey, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings.
- Holitera Turizm may, in cases of force majeure or when deemed necessary, change the order of the cities in the program and/or the airline to be used, without altering the content of the program.
- Holitera Turizm reserves the right to change hotel names, provided that the category remains the same.
- Holitera Turizm is not responsible for items forgotten, lost or stolen during the tour.
- If children under the age of 18 travel with their mother, they must obtain a letter of consent from their father; if they travel with their father, from their mother; and if they travel with a third person, from both their mother and father. Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible if the flight does not take place due to the absence of a letter of consent.
- The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
