- Extra tours are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 10 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, extra tours may be canceled or tour fees may be changed.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Points to be considered during the mosque visit on Abu Dhabi tours: Men must not wear shorts; women must not wear sleeveless clothing, miniskirts, leggings or shorts; and a long-sleeved cardigan and headscarf must be brought for the mosque visit. Lunch is included in our tour.
- Points to be considered on our Desert Safari tour: Sportswear and comfortable clothing should be worn, and a cardigan should be brought. Heavy meals should not be eaten and excessive amounts of water should not be consumed before the tour. Guests with stomach, lower back or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, must inform their guides of their condition.
- In order to benefit from the Advantageous Sightseeing package prices on extra tours, the fee must be paid to the local agency representative during the tour.
- Extra tours take place with a minimum participation of 10 people. If participation is below 10 people, the tour prices may change or the tour may be operated by metro. Our guide may change the dates of the extra tours provided that the content remains the same.
- Prices for extra tours may change depending on regional congestion or the period. The prices quoted by the guide at the time of purchase will apply to extra tours.
- Where arrangements are made as VB in the tour program, or where only category information is provided without specifying a name and/or there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the sightseeing departure.
- In our programs, the guide will meet guests at the destination to be visited. The guiding service included in the package covers only the panoramic city tour and the round-trip airport transfer. If extra tours are purchased, guiding services will also be provided. A different guide may accompany our guests during extra tours. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pickup time provided by the guide.
- Guests must notify the guide of extra tour cancellations or changes at least 24 hours in advance. The cancellation and refund conditions of the extra tour for which cancellation is requested may vary depending on the final decision of the local supplier.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances exceeding the specified kilometers. In such a case, Holitera Turizm will provide information 2 days before the tour departure date.
- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting a maximum of 2–3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically with the guide's narration from inside the vehicle; they do not include museum or archaeological site entrance fees.
- Holitera Turizm is not responsible if panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program cannot take place because local authorities close the places to be visited on the day and at the time corresponding to the tour, roads along the route are closed due to an event, or weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot, where possible, due to closed roads or locations where vehicle access is not permitted.
- In our tour programs, the guide meets guests at the arrival airport. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pickup time provided by the guide.
- The hotels listed in the program are offered for sale as stated, etc. Hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods. Therefore, another similar hotel may be provided; the hotel name is not guaranteed.
- To prevent guests from being affected by exchange-rate differences, we recommend that they do not exchange large amounts of foreign currency. Old/worn foreign currency is not accepted by banks in the destinations. Therefore, extra tour reservations will not be processed using old-style foreign currency that banks will not accept.
- Since transactions for extra tour purchases in the relevant destination are made in USD, the USD-EUR parity is applied equally.
- Since our package tours are intended for travel abroad, guests are responsible for their own foreign-language knowledge.
GENERAL TERMS
- At the time of reservation, the tour program and the general terms and obligations set out below must be communicated to the guests. Holitera Turizm is not responsible for complaints that may arise within the scope of the information provided. Our guest is deemed to have read and accepted all clauses in advance.
- Guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passports if the passport issue date is more than 10 years old. Otherwise, they may not be admitted to the country they are traveling to and/or their flight from Türkiye may not be operated by the airline. In such a case, responsibility lies with the passenger, and Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible in any way.
- To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies visas to citizens of the Turkish Republic, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.
- Guest passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the return flight date. Otherwise, any resulting obstacle is the responsibility of the guests.
- Holitera Turizm acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right not to issue a visa when it deems necessary; Holitera Turizm bears no responsibility for the passenger's inability to obtain a visa. Holitera Turizm only undertakes the role of intermediary. Holitera Turizm has no obligation or responsibility regarding individual visa applications. Consumers have registered for the tour by accepting these terms.
- When Holitera Turizm applies for a visa as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate, the guest must check the accuracy of the information on the resulting visa. Holitera Turizm is not responsible for any incorrect spelling on the visa or for any resulting situation that may prevent boarding the flight.
- Under normal circumstances, obtaining the documents required by passengers who will apply for their own visas (hotel confirmation, flight ticket, etc.) takes 1 business day. Our guests must arrange their appointment dates and times with this period in mind. Otherwise, Holitera Turizm is not responsible for any possible disruptions.
- If the guest cancels their reservation and/or does not or cannot participate in the relevant tour, the visa fee and service fee will not be refunded. If the guest obtained their visa and visa service through the Holitera Turizm Visa department and this visa service was specified as an additional service in the travel contract, and if Holitera Turizm cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, the guest may receive a refund of the amount remaining after deducting fees and similar amounts paid to consulates for the visa, provided that they present their passport proving that they did not use the visa within 1 week at the latest after the visa expiration date. If the guest obtained their visa through their own means and/or with the assistance of another visa intermediary company and Holitera Turizm cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, no refund will be made to the guest.
- Routes may change depending on the city where the aircraft lands. The aircraft type and time may change, and since hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods, another similar hotel may be provided. These circumstances were notified at the time of contracting, and THE PASSENGER PURCHASED THE TOUR BY ACCEPTING THE RISK OF TIME CHANGES AND HOTEL CHANGES.
- Triple rooms are provided subject to hotel availability. Triple rooms include an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed. Three separate beds cannot be guaranteed in triple rooms; if the hotel has a suitable room, it will be blocked by the hotel subject to availability.
- Child discounts are valid only for children staying with 2 adults.
- The breakfast served at the hotels is continental breakfast, not Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee, and fruit juice.
- Group breakfasts may be served in a separate room.
- At the time of reservation/registration, the first and last name as shown on the passport to be used for travel, date of birth and passport number must be provided and entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for cancellation or changes to flight tickets resulting from incorrect information are the responsibility of the guest.
- Whether or not our guests obtain it from Holitera Turizm, they are required to have overseas travel and health insurance that begins one day before the tour date and ends one day after the tour date, and to carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests who do not carry their travel insurance may be fined by the police of the relevant country. If a guest incurs such a fine for not carrying travel insurance, responsibility lies with the guest.
- Due to diplomatic relations between countries, having entered or exited certain countries may result in being unable to obtain a visa for one or more other countries or being denied entry at the border. Since this matter is outside Holitera Turizm's control, the parties acknowledge that Holitera Turizm bears no responsibility in such a case.
- Guests who do not wish to participate in tours conducted along the route for the purpose of providing the group with economic and time benefits agree to wait for the group at a nearby facility until the extra excursion ends. At the end of the excursion, our bus will pick up these guests and the tour will continue.
- Panoramic city tours are excursions organized to introduce the cities. City tours and extra excursions may be organized on different days without changing their content or may not take place depending on weather conditions. In such a case, Holitera Turizm is obliged to offer our valued guests the most suitable alternative possible. Extra tours are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, extra tours may not take place or their prices may change.
- Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not take place. Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible for the inability to conduct such excursions or tours.
- The aircraft seats in our programs are group seats, and tickets are issued as a single round-trip ticket. If the outbound flight is missed and/or not used, the return flight may also be automatically forfeited. The airline's rules apply in such cases.
- Last-minute flight delays and gate changes are displayed on information boards/screens at airports. Guests must follow this information themselves. If a flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the guest must purchase and obtain a new ticket at their own expense (if necessary, as a round-trip ticket in accordance with the previous clause). Furthermore, missing the group's departure may result in partially or completely missing the first day's program; in such a case, responsibility lies with the guest. Additionally, if the guest travels to the relevant city/country on a flight different from that of the group, the airport-city or airport-hotel transfer is the guest's responsibility.
- Guests wishing to upgrade their flight tickets using miles may do so only after the tickets have been issued and provided that there is availability on the relevant airline's relevant flight. Since the aircraft seats in our programs are in a group class, before upgrading the requested ticket, if availability exists, it may be necessary to pay the fare difference specified by the airline and move the ticket from the group class to an economy class eligible for upgrade. Any price difference arising in this case is the guest's responsibility. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the tour departure.
- To use your mobile phones abroad, you must check with your GSM operator before leaving Türkiye whether your line is open for international calls and roaming.
- When briefly or permanently leaving the means of transportation you use and the hotels where you stay during your trip, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings.
- Holitera Turizm may change the order of the cities in the program and/or the airline to be used without altering the content of the program in cases of force majeure or when deemed necessary.
- Holitera Turizm reserves the right to change hotel names provided that the category remains the same.
- Holitera Turizm is not responsible for items forgotten, lost or stolen during the tour.
- Children under the age of 18 must obtain a notarized consent document from their father if traveling with their mother, from their mother if traveling with their father, and from both their mother and father if traveling with a third person. Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible if the flight cannot take place due to the absence of such consent.
