Features of the E-Visa
- It is a single-entry visa valid for 120 days from the date of issue.
- You can stay in Russia for up to 30 days from the date of entry (entry and exit dates are counted as separate days).
- It can be used for tourism, business, private visits, cultural, and sporting activities.
- No invitation letter or hotel reservation is required.
- Entry and exit must be done only at border crossings approved by the government.
Application Requirements
- The application can be submitted at least 86 days and no more than 4 days before the intended date of entry.
- The processing time is a maximum of 4 calendar days.
- The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the application date, be machine-readable, and have blank pages.
- Separate applications are required for children.
- A valid health insurance policy valid in Russia is mandatory throughout your stay.
- If you already have a valid regular Russian visa in your passport, an e-Visa is not necessary.
Required Information and Documents
- A color passport photo taken within the last 6 months, on a light background, in JPEG format
- A clear photo of the passport’s information page
- Personal, family, contact, work/education, and travel history details (required on the application form)

Important Notice

The approval, rejection, or duration of the visa is entirely at the discretion of Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs; no guarantee of outcome is provided. The processing fee will not be refunded regardless of the application result. The accuracy of the information is the responsibility of the applicant. For applications returned due to incomplete/incorrect information, a period of 10 calendar days is given for corrections; if no correction is made within this time, the application will be rejected and the fee will not be refunded.
