Rize Honeymoon Guide: What You Need to Know When Choosing a Jacuzzi Bungalow

Holitera was born in Rize; our first project was bungalows in the Black Sea region. Every season we arrange honeymoon stays for many couples, and the most common question we get is the same: “Which area and what type of bungalow should we choose?” This guide provides the answer to that question.

Which area is best for a honeymoon in Rize?

• Çamlıhemşin and Ayder Yaylası: Alpine air, waterfalls, and sea of mist. There are also hot springs in Ayder. It’s the top choice for those who love hiking.
• Fırtına Vadisi: Zil Kale, historic stone bridges, and bungalows by the stream. Activities like rafting and ziplining are available here.
• Ardeşen and Pazar area: A combination of sea and valley views; it’s the closest region to the Rize-Artvin Airport.

What should you consider when choosing a honeymoon bungalow?

1. Jacuzzi and fireplace: Having a jacuzzi and fireplace in honeymoon suites has become standard; check the photos to see if they are actually inside the room.
2. Heated pool: Outdoor pools can be cold in spring and autumn; if you want to use them all year round, choose a private heated pool.
3. Transportation: It may be difficult to reach bungalows on mountain roads in winter without chains. Ask about shuttle services.
4. Breakfast: Check whether the Black Sea-style spread breakfast is included and if it’s served in the room.

When should you go?

May to October is the most vibrant period for the green landscapes of the Black Sea; July and August are the busiest months, requiring early reservations. November to March is ideal for snowy scenery and enjoying the fireplace, but we recommend being flexible with your plans due to road conditions.
