- In order to benefit from the Advantageous Sightseeing package prices on extra tours, the fee must be paid to the local agency representative during the tour.
- Extra tours take place with a minimum participation of 10 people. If participation is below 10 people, the tour prices may change or the tour may be conducted by metro. Our guide may change the dates of the extra tours, provided that their content remains the same.
- Prices for extra tours may change depending on regional density or the period. The prices quoted by the guide at the time of purchase will apply to extra tours.
- When the program is processed as VB, or when only category information is provided without specifying a name and/or there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the sightseeing departure.
- In our programs, the guide will meet guests at the destination to be visited; the guiding service included in the package covers only the panoramic city tour and the round-trip airport transfer. If extra tours are purchased, guiding service will also be provided. A different guide may accompany our guests during extra tours. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pickup time given by the guide.
- Guests must inform the guide of any cancellation or changes to an extra tour at least 24 hours in advance. The cancellation and refund conditions of the extra tour requested to be canceled may vary depending on the final decision of the local supplier.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances exceeding the specified kilometers. In such a case, Holitera Turizm will provide information 2 days before the tour departure date.
- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting a maximum of 2–3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically with the guide's narration from inside the vehicle; they do not include entrances to museums or archaeological sites.
- Holitera Turizm is not responsible if the panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program cannot be carried out because the places to be visited are closed by local authorities on the day and at the time of the tour, roads along the route are closed due to an event, or weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot, where possible, due to closed roads or locations where vehicle entry is not permitted.
- In our tour programs, the guide meets guests at the airport of arrival. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pickup time given by the guide.
- The hotels listed in the program are offered for sale as hotels and similar accommodations. Availability at hotels may vary during high season or special periods. Therefore, a similar alternative hotel may be provided, and the hotel name is not guaranteed.
- We advise guests not to exchange large amounts of foreign currency so that they are not affected by exchange rate differences. Old/worn foreign currency is not accepted by banks in the destinations. Therefore, extra tour reservations will not be processed using old-style foreign currency that banks will not accept.
- Since transactions for extra tour purchases in the relevant destination are carried out in USD, the USD-EUR parity is applied equally.
- As our package tours are intended for international travel, guests are responsible for their own foreign language skills.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- At the time of reservation, it is mandatory to communicate the tour program and the general conditions and obligations provided below to the guests. Holitera Turizm is not responsible for complaints that may arise within the scope of the information provided. Our guest is deemed to have read and accepted all items in advance.
- Guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passports if the date of issue is more than 10 years ago. Otherwise, they may not be admitted to the country they are traveling to and/or their flight from Türkiye may not be operated by the airline. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger, and Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible in any way.
- In order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or otherwise damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies a visa requirement to Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
- Guest passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the return flight date. Otherwise, any resulting impediment is the responsibility of the guests.
- Holitera Turizm acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right to refuse to issue a visa when it deems necessary; Holitera Turizm has no responsibility whatsoever regarding the passenger's inability to obtain a visa. Holitera Turizm only undertakes the role of intermediary. Holitera Turizm has no obligation or responsibility in individual visa applications. Consumers have registered for the tour by accepting these conditions.
- When Holitera Turizm applies for a visa as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate, the guest must check the accuracy of the information on the issued visa. Holitera Turizm is not responsible for any incorrect spelling on the visa or for any resulting situation that may prevent travel.
- Under normal circumstances, obtaining the documents required by passengers who will apply for their own visas (hotel confirmation, flight ticket, etc.) takes 1 business day. Our guests must arrange their appointment dates and times with this period in mind. Otherwise, Holitera Turizm is not responsible for any possible disruptions.
- If the guest cancels the reservation and/or does not or cannot participate in the relevant tour, the visa fee and service fee will not be refunded. If the guest obtained their visa and visa service through the Holitera Turizm Visa department and this visa service was specified as an additional service in the travel agreement, and Holitera Turizm cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, the guest may receive a refund of the amount remaining after excluding fees and similar amounts paid to consulates for the visa, provided that they present their passport proving that they did not use the visa within 1 week at the latest after the visa expiry date. If the guest obtained their visa through their own means and/or with the assistance of a different visa intermediary company, and Holitera Turizm cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, no refund will be made to the guest.
- There may be changes to the routes depending on the city where the aircraft lands. The aircraft type and flight time may change, and since hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods, a similar alternative hotel may be provided. These circumstances were notified at the time of signing the contract, and THE PASSENGER HAS PURCHASED THE TOUR BY ACCEPTING THE RISK OF FLIGHT TIME CHANGES AND HOTEL CHANGES.
- Triple rooms are provided subject to hotel availability. Triple rooms include an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed. Three separate beds cannot be guaranteed in triple rooms; if the hotel has a suitable room, a block will be made by the hotel subject to availability.
- Child discounts are valid only for children staying with 2 adults.
- The breakfast served at the hotels is continental breakfast, not Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee, and fruit juice.
- Group breakfasts may be served in a separate room.
- During the reservation/registration, the first and last name as shown on the passport to be used for travel, date of birth and passport number must be provided and entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information are the responsibility of the guest.
- Whether or not our guests obtain it from Holitera Turizm, they must have an international travel and health insurance policy beginning one day before the tour date and ending one day after the tour date, and must carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests who do not carry their travel insurance may be fined by the police of the relevant country. If a guest is subject to such a fine because they did not carry their travel insurance, responsibility belongs to the guest.
- Due to diplomatic relations between countries, having entered or exited certain countries may result in being unable to obtain a visa for one or more other countries or being unable to enter through a border gate. Since this is outside Holitera Turizm' control, the parties acknowledge that Holitera Turizm has no responsibility in such a case.
- Guests who do not wish to participate in tours conducted along the route for the purpose of providing the group with economic and time benefits agree to wait for the group at a nearby facility until the extra sightseeing ends. At the end of the sightseeing, our bus will pick up these guests and our tour will continue.
- Panoramic city tours are organized to introduce the cities. City tours and extra sightseeing tours may be organized on different days, provided that their content does not change, or may not take place depending on weather conditions. In such a case, Holitera Turizm is obliged to offer our valued guests the most suitable alternative possible. Extra tours are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, extra tours may not take place or the price may change.
- Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not take place. Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible for the inability to conduct such excursions or tours.
- The aircraft seats in our programs are group seats, and round-trip tickets are issued as a single ticket. If the outbound flight is missed and/or not used, the return flight may also be automatically forfeited. The airline's rules apply in this case.
- Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur on flights are displayed on information boards/screens at airports. This information must be followed by the individuals concerned. If a flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the guest must obtain and pay for a new ticket themselves (if necessary, a round-trip ticket in accordance with the previous item). In addition, they may partially or completely miss the first day's program because they missed the group's departure; in this case, responsibility belongs to the guest. Furthermore, if they travel to the relevant city/country on a flight different from the group's, the airport-to-city or airport-to-hotel transfer is the guest's responsibility.
- Guests wishing to upgrade their flight tickets using miles may do so only after the tickets have been issued and provided that there is availability on the relevant flight of the airline. Since the aircraft seats in our programs are in group class, if availability exists, it may be necessary to pay the fare difference specified by the airline and transfer the ticket from group class to an economy class eligible for upgrade before carrying out the upgrade. Any resulting price difference is the guest's responsibility. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the tour departure.
- In order to use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Türkiye you must check with your GSM operator whether your line is open for international calls and incoming calls.
- When temporarily or completely leaving the means of transportation you use and the hotels where you stay during your trip, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings.
- Holitera Turizm may change the order of the cities in the program and/or the airline to be used without altering the content of the program in cases of force majeure or when deemed necessary.
- Holitera Turizm reserves the right to change hotel names, provided that the category remains the same.
- Holitera Turizm is not responsible for items forgotten, lost or stolen during the tour.
- Children under the age of 18 must obtain a consent form from their father if traveling with their mother, from their mother if traveling with their father, and from both their mother and father if traveling with a third person. Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible if the flight does not take place due to the absence of a consent form.
- The General Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
