IMPORTANT NOTES
- To benefit from the Advantageous Tour package prices for extra tours, the fee must be paid to the local agency representative during the tour.
- Extra tours take place with a minimum participation of 10 people. If participation is below 10 people, tour prices may change or the tour may be operated by minibus. Our guide may change the dates of extra tours provided that their content remains the same.
- Prices for extra tours may change depending on regional demand or the period. The prices provided by the guide at the time of purchase will apply to extra tours.
- When only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying names and/or when options are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.
- In our programs, the guide will meet you at the destination. The guiding service included in the package covers only the panoramic city tour and round-trip airport transfers. If extra tours are purchased, guiding service will also be provided. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.
- Guests must inform the guide of extra tour cancellations or changes at least 24 hours in advance. The cancellation and refund conditions for the extra tour requested to be cancelled may vary depending on the final decision of the local supplier.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances exceeding the stated kilometers. In such a case, Holitera Turizm will provide information 2 days before the tour departure date.
- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting a maximum of 2–3 hours, organized for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically with the guide’s commentary from inside the vehicle; they do not include museum or archaeological site entrances.
- Holitera Turizm is not responsible if panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program cannot take place because local authorities close the places to be visited on the day and at the time of the tour, roads along the route are closed due to an event, or weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot, within the available possibilities, on closed roads or at locations where vehicle entry is not permitted.
- In our tour programs, the guide meets guests at the airport of arrival. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pickup time provided by the guide.
- The hotels listed in the program are offered for sale, among other options. Hotel availability may change during high season or special periods. Therefore, a similar alternative hotel may be provided.
- To prevent guests from being affected by exchange-rate differences, we recommend that they do not exchange large amounts of foreign currency. Old/worn foreign currency is not accepted by banks at the destinations. Therefore, extra tour reservations will not be made using old-style foreign currency that banks will not accept.
- As our package tours are intended for travel abroad, guests are responsible for their own foreign language skills.

GENERAL TERMS
- At the time of reservation, the tour program and the general terms and obligations below must be communicated to guests. Holitera Turizm is not responsible for complaints that may arise within the scope of the information provided. Our guest is deemed to have read and accepted all items in advance.
- Guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passports if the date of issue is more than 10 years ago. Otherwise, they may not be admitted to the country they are visiting and/or their flight may not be operated by the airline from Türkiye. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger and Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible in any way.
- To avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports, such passports must be renewed and, if the country requires a visa for Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
- Guest passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the return flight date. Otherwise, any resulting impediment is the responsibility of the guests.
- Holitera Turizm acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right to refuse to issue a visa when it deems necessary, and Holitera Turizm bears no responsibility for the passenger’s inability to obtain a visa. Holitera Turizm only acts as an intermediary. Holitera Turizm has no liability or obligation regarding personal visa applications. Consumers have registered for the tour by accepting these terms.
- When Holitera Turizm applies for a visa as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate, the guest must check the accuracy of the information on the issued visa. Holitera Turizm is not responsible for any incorrect spelling on the visa or for circumstances that may prevent boarding the flight.
- Under normal circumstances, obtaining the documents required by passengers who will apply for their own visas (hotel confirmation, flight ticket, etc.) takes 1 business day. Our guests must arrange their appointment dates and times with this period in mind. Otherwise, Holitera Turizm is not responsible for possible disruptions.
- If the guest cancels the reservation and/or does not/cannot participate in the relevant tour, the visa fee and service fee are non-refundable. If the guest obtained their visa and visa service through the Holitera Turizm Visa department and this visa service is specified as an additional service in the travel agreement, and if Holitera Turizm cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, the guest may receive a refund of the amount remaining after excluding the fees and similar amounts paid to consulates for the visa, provided that they present their passport proving that they did not use the visa within 1 week at the latest after the visa expiry date. If the guest obtained their visa through their own means and/or with the assistance of another visa intermediary company and Holitera Turizm cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, no refund will be made to the guest.
- Routes may change depending on the city where the aircraft lands. The aircraft type and flight time may change, and since hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods, a similar alternative hotel may be provided. These circumstances were communicated at the time of the contract and THE PASSENGER PURCHASED THE TOUR BY ACCEPTING THE RISK OF TIME CHANGES AND HOTEL CHANGES.
- Triple rooms are provided subject to hotel availability. Triple rooms include an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed. Three separate beds cannot be guaranteed in triple rooms; if the hotel has a suitable room, it will block one subject to availability.
- Child discounts are valid only for children staying with 2 adults.
- The breakfast served at the hotels is continental breakfast, not Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee and fruit juice.
- Group breakfasts may be served in a separate hall.
- During reservation/registration, the first and last name, date of birth and passport number as stated in the passport to be used for travel must be provided and entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for cancellation or changes to flight tickets resulting from incorrect information are the responsibility of the guest.
- Whether obtained from Holitera Turizm or not, our guests must have overseas travel and health insurance beginning one day before the tour date and ending one day after the tour date, and must carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests who do not carry travel insurance may be fined by the police of the relevant country. Responsibility for any such fine due to not carrying travel insurance belongs to our guests.
- Due to diplomatic relations between countries, having entered or exited certain countries may result in being unable to obtain a visa for one or more other countries or being unable to enter through a border gate. Since this matter is outside Holitera Turizm’s control, the parties acknowledge that Holitera Turizm bears no responsibility in such a case.
- Guests who do not wish to participate in tours conducted along the route for the benefit of the group in terms of economy and time agree to wait for the group at a nearby facility until the extra excursion ends. At the end of the excursion, our bus will pick up these guests and the tour will continue.
- Panoramic city tours are excursions organized to introduce the cities. City tours and extra excursions may be organized on different days, provided that their content does not change, or may not take place depending on weather conditions. In such a case, Holitera Turizm is obliged to offer our valued guests the most suitable alternative possible. Extra tours are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not reached, extra tours may not take place or prices may change.
- Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not take place. Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible if these excursions or tours cannot take place.
- The flight seats in our programs are group seats, and tickets are issued as a single round-trip ticket. If the outbound flight is missed and/or not used, the return flight may also be automatically cancelled. The airline’s rules apply in such cases.
- Last-minute delays and gate changes on flights are displayed on information boards/screens at airports. These details must be monitored by passengers. If the flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the guest must purchase and pay for a new ticket themselves (if necessary, as a round-trip ticket according to the previous item). In addition, they may partially or completely miss the first day’s program because they missed the group’s departure; in such a case, responsibility belongs to the guest. Furthermore, if they travel to the relevant city/country on a flight different from the group’s, airport–city or airport–hotel transfers are the guest’s responsibility.
- Guests wishing to upgrade their flight tickets using miles may do so only after the tickets have been issued and provided that there is availability on the relevant flight of the airline. Since the flight seats in our programs are in a group class, if availability exists, it may be necessary to pay the difference specified by the airline and transfer the ticket from the group class to an economy class eligible for upgrade before completing the upgrade. Any resulting price difference is the guest’s responsibility. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the tour departure.
- To use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Türkiye you must check with your GSM operator whether your line is open for international calls and incoming calls.
- During your trip, when briefly or completely leaving the means of transportation you use and the hotels where you stay, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings.
- Holitera Turizm may change the order of cities in the program and/or the airline to be used without changing the content of the program when force majeure events occur or when deemed necessary.
- Holitera Turizm reserves the right to change hotel names provided that the category remains the same.
- Holitera Turizm is not responsible for items forgotten, lost or stolen during the tour.
- Children under the age of 18 traveling with their mother must obtain a consent letter from their father; traveling with their father must obtain one from their mother; and traveling with a third person must obtain one from both their mother and father. Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible if the flight cannot take place due to the absence of a consent letter.
- The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
