General Information
- To make purchases and spend in all countries included in the tour program, it is sufficient to have Euros. In regions where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
- Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers should be preferred during the trip. For the evening, it is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing.
- In our tours, a rotation (seat change) system is applied daily regarding seat planning; no fixed seats or front seat guarantee is provided. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide.
- When entering Turkey from abroad, a minimum 3-day stay is required to bring goods (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
- Duty-free shopping limit when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic beverages (excluding those containing more than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic beverages (containing less than 22% alcohol, including wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 items, Chocolate and Confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg
- Guides may make changes to the program flow while ensuring all locations specified in the program are shown, depending on weather and road conditions during the tour.
- Guests who register for the tour have a free cancellation right up to 30 days before the tour date. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; if 20 days or less remain, a 100% penalty applies. Hospital reports obtained from authorities in Turkey, work leave certificates, and other documents submitted along with the participant's cancellation request are unfortunately not accepted for cancellations of hotels and services outside Turkey.
- Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 25 people. If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. Tours cancelled due to insufficient participation will be notified by Holitera Turizm.
- In cases where only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or options exist for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by Holitera Turizm 2 days before the tour departure.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances exceeding the specified kilometers. In such cases, information will be provided by Holitera Turizm 15 days before the tour departure date.
- Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability; in these rooms, the bed allocated for the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or convertible (known as coachbeds), participants booking triple rooms for the 3rd person and/or children are deemed to have accepted any potential crowding and bed types that may occur in the rooms. Child discounts apply only to one child accompanying two adults within the appropriate age group.
- Breakfasts included in the tour package are served according to the country's breakfast culture, typically as a limited continental menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate room allocated specifically for the group.
- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours, organized for general introduction to cities and conducted via vehicle with guide commentary. They do not include entry to museums or historical sites. Holitera Turizm is not responsible for the inability to conduct these tours if they cannot be visited or entered by local authorities on the scheduled day and time, including other tours specified in the program, due to closed roads caused by any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted on foot or using public transport where possible at points where vehicle access is restricted.
- Waiting times at customs checkpoints crossed by road during travel may exceed standard limits; Holitera Turizm cannot be held liable for any negative consequences arising from such waiting times.
- Extra tours are organized by local Holitera Turizm partners with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not met, excursions may not take place, or extra tour prices, content, and vehicles used may vary based on the number of participants. Additionally, the days and times of tours may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums and historical sites at the destinations are open or closed, and weather conditions.
- Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours organized during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at the roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and picked up again from that point after the main tour is completed.
- Check-in and boarding procedures for persons participating in air tours are personal processes and must be completed by the guest before the flight at airline counters in airports or online via the airlines' websites.
- Holitera Turizm is not responsible for guests failing to board their flights due to not being present at the specified airport at the time notified by Holitera Turizm for tour participation, failing to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or completing them on time but not boarding the plane. All costs for new round-trip flight tickets and transfers to the destination area required for missed passengers to join the tour are borne by themselves.
- Holitera Turizm acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline and is subject to the 1955 Hague Protocol dated 28.09. Children aged 0-2 years do not pay airport taxes or airport service fees.
