Need to Know

INFORMATION

- All participating guests must possess a valid Multi-Entry Schengen visa for the entire duration of the tour. (Green passport holders are exempt from visa requirements.)
- To enable shopping and spending in all countries included in the program during the tour, it is sufficient to carry Euros. In regions where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
- Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers should be worn during the trip. It is advisable to bring a sweater or similar clothing for the evening.
- On our weekly tours, a rotation system (seat changing) is applied daily regarding seat planning; therefore, no guarantee is given for fixed seats or front seats. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide.
- When entering Turkey from abroad, there is a mandatory minimum stay requirement of at least 1 day to bring goods (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
- Duty-free shopping limits when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic beverages (excluding spirits containing more than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic beverages (including spirits containing less than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 items, Chocolate and Confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg
- Guides may make changes to the program flow within the scope of showing all places specified in the program, depending on weather and road conditions.

- The Travel Insurance Package can only be added at the time of tour purchase and cannot be added later. It provides the guest with an unconditional right to cancel without interruption up to 7 days before the travel date. If not used, it is non-refundable. If the cancellation insurance package is not purchased, guests have the right to cancel free of charge until 30 days before the tour date. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; if 20 days or less remain, a 100% penalty applies. Hospital reports, work permits, and other documents obtained from Turkish authorities submitted with a participant's cancellation request are unfortunately not accepted for cancellations of hotels and services to be received outside Turkey.
- Our tour program is organized subject to a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not secured for the trip, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. Tours cancelled due to insufficient participation will be notified by OUTGOİNG TOUR.
- In cases where names are not specified in the tour program but only category information is provided and/or options exist for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by OUTGOİNG TOUR 2 days before the tour departure.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located further than the specified kilometers. In such cases, information will be provided by OUTGOİNG TOUR 15 days before the tour departure date.
- Triple rooms are assigned based on hotel availability; in these rooms, the bed allocated for the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or referred to as coach beds, tour participants registering a 3rd person and/or children are deemed to have accepted any potential crowding and bed types that may occur in the rooms. Child discounts apply only for one child accompanying two adults and falling within the appropriate age group.
- Breakfasts included in the tour program are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited, generally as a limited continental menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate room dedicated to the group.
- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours, organized for general introduction to cities and conducted from inside the vehicle with guide commentary; they do not include entry to museums or historical sites. In cases where panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot be visited or entered due to local authorities' restrictions on the specific day and time, due to closed roads caused by any event, or because weather conditions make the tour impossible, OUTGOİNG TOUR shall not be held responsible for the inability to conduct said tours. Some tours may be conducted via public transport or on foot, within available means, at points where vehicles are not permitted due to closed roads.
- Waiting times at customs checkpoints crossed by road during travel may exceed standard limits; OUTGOİNG TOUR cannot be held responsible for any negative consequences arising from such waiting times.
- Extra tours are organized by the local OUTGOİNG TOUR we use, subject to a minimum participation of 20 people. If this number is not reached, tours may not take place, or extra tour prices, content, and vehicles used may vary according to the number of participants. Additionally, tour dates and times may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums and historical sites at the destinations are open or closed and weather conditions.
- Extra tours are optional and depend on the participant's preference. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours organized during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and picked up from that location after the main tour is completed.
- Check-in and boarding procedures for flights are personal processes and must be completed by the guest either at airline counters in airports before the flight or online via the airlines' websites.
- OUTGOİNG TOUR is not responsible for failures to board flights by individuals who fail to appear at the designated airport at the times notified by OUTGOİNG TOUR, fail to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete them on time but do not board the plane. All costs for new round-trip flight tickets and transfers required for missed passengers to join the tour, as well as any other related expenses in the destination region, are borne by the passengers themselves.
- OUTGOİNG TOUR acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline and is subject to the 1955 Hague Protocol. There may be risks of delays in scheduled and special flights, or flight times may change prior to the existing tour and flight. OUTGOİNG TOUR is obligated to notify of such changes as soon as possible. By purchasing the tour, the passenger accepts the risk of time changes. Children aged 0-2 years do not pay airport taxes or airport service fees.
- Vehicle types used in our tours are classified as follows according to the number of passengers. For each tour, the vehicle type is determined based on the number of participants:

Tour Program
Day 1: ISTANBUL

From the parking lot in front of the Kadıköy Marriage Office in Istanbul at 21:00, from in front of Ziraat Bank in Mecidiyeköy at 21:30, from the İncirli Ömür bus stop at 22:00, from the Marmara Park Havaist stop in Beylikdüzü at 22:30, from in front of Silivri 5M Vega AVM at 23:15, from Yenice Aytemiz facilities at 23:55, and from Namık Kemal Yaypet rest facilities at 00:25, we begin our tour to pick up our valued guests. Following the Malkara – Keşan direction, this 8-day tour will allow us to gain many historical and cultural insights, taste local flavors, experience different adventures, and create beautiful memories. After arriving at the Ipsala border crossing, once passport and customs procedures are completed, we continue our night journey to Kavala.

Day 2: Kavala – Bitola (Monastir) – Ohrid

In the morning, after taking a free breakfast, we arrive in Kavala and begin our panoramic city tour of Kavala. During the tour, we view the important points of the city panoramically and explore the historical structures that have become the symbol of Kavala and its coastal area. After our panoramic city tour, we proceed towards Thessaloniki. Upon arrival in Thessaloniki, we visit the birthplace house of the Founder of the Republic of Turkey, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. After our visit, we continue our journey towards the Greece–North Macedonia border. After completing passport and customs procedures, we arrive at the city of Bitola (Monastir), where Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk also received his education at the Military High School. In our Bitola city tour; the Military High School, which now houses the Atatürk Memorial Room and the city's Archaeology Museum, Şirok Street, the New Mosque, and the House of Eleni Karinte are among the important points we will see. After our city tour, we have free time on Şirok Street. Guests who wish may have their lunch at restaurants in the area during this time. We meet again at the time set by the guide and head towards Ohrid, one of the most special cities in the Balkans and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After arriving in Ohrid, in our walking tour; the Monuments of Saints Cyril and Methodius, Hagia Sophia Church, the Ancient Theatre dating back to the Roman period, Çınar Square, Turkish Bazaar, Halveti Tekke, Yeni Çarşı, Ohrid Market, and Lake Ohrid are among the main places we will see. After our Ohrid city tour, we give you free time to shop, spend time by the lake, and enjoy the city. We recommend experiencing the unique atmosphere of Ohrid with a cup of Turkish tea or Turkish coffee in the Turkish Quarter. After the free time, we move to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Day 3: Ohrid – Tetovo (Kalkandelen) – Skopje

After enjoying our breakfast and checking out of our rooms at the hotel, we set off towards Skopje, the capital and largest city of North Macedonia. On the route, after a short and delicious break in Straza, we continue to Kalkandelen (Tetovo), one of the important cities of North Macedonia with an entirely Albanian population. Upon arrival, we visit the Alaca Mosque, which may be one of the most colorful sights you can see. After our visit, we continue our journey towards Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. Upon arriving in Skopje, our city tour includes visits to Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Murat Pasha Mosque, Kapan Han, Sulu Han, and Stone Bridge. Then, we continue our walk along the banks of the Vardar River, admiring the Turkish and Jewish neighborhoods on the opposite side. During our walk, we view Macedonia Square, the Ottoman Bridge, and Davut Pasha Bath from a panoramic perspective, then enter the Turkish Bazaar. There, we see some of Skopje's iconic landmarks: the Clock Tower, built in the 16th century; Sultan Murat Mosque, one of the early mosques constructed in the 14th century; and Isa Bey Mosque, also dating back to the same century. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel. In the evening, we depart from the hotel for our Macedonian Night Tour, featuring dinner, music, and entertainment. After enjoying the food and having a wonderful time to the sounds of Rumeli, Balkan, and Macedonian melodies, we transfer back to our hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Skopje – Matka Canyon – Pristina – Prizren – Shkodra

After enjoying our breakfast and checking out of our rooms at the hotel, our guide will first take us on a pleasant walk in nature to recharge with fresh air, heading to Matka Canyon included in our tour program. Following this enjoyable walk, we proceed toward the Macedonia-Kosovo border. After completing passport and customs procedures, we arrive in Kosovo, the world's second newest country and Europe's newest state. Along the way, we first view Pristina panoramically. Then, we visit the tomb of Ottoman Sultan Murad I Hüdavendigâr, who was killed in the Battle of Kosovo in 1389 on the Kosovo Field, giving us the opportunity to commemorate this important historical event and its place in Ottoman history. After visiting the tomb, we begin exploring the narrow streets of Prizren, which recall an Anatolian Ottoman city with its architecture and shop signs filled with Turkish inscriptions. In the city, we will visit the Sinan Pasha Mosque, one of the most important structures of Ottoman architecture. Additionally, the Halveti Tekke, Bayraklı Mosque, and Mehmet Paşa Hamam are among the other significant Ottoman monuments to be seen. During the free time provided here, we highly recommend trying some of the region's delicious local dishes. After completing our tour of Prizren, we conclude our visits in Kosovo and head towards Shkodër in Albania for overnight accommodation. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

Day 5: ISKODRA – BUDVA – KOTOR – DUBROVNIK – MEDUGORJE

After having breakfast at our hotel, we head to the pearl of the Adriatic Sea and one of the youngest countries in the world, Montenegro. Continuing through Podgorica, Sutomore, and Petrovac, we make our way to Budva, one of the most famous holiday resorts in the Balkans with its magnificent beaches and colorful nightlife. After a panoramic tour, we have the opportunity to view the magnificent St. Stefan from above, an island once inhabited by fishermen, later nationalized and then sold to a Singaporean multi-billionaire, transforming it into a major tourist destination. Immediately after, we arrive in Kotor, one of the most important surviving places from the Middle Ages. When you see Kotor, which has challenged the centuries in the depths of the bay and on the slope of the mountain, one of Montenegro's tourist centers, both your mind and heart will remain here. During our walking city tour upon arrival, some of what you will see and hear include the important family mansions for Kotor, St. Tryphon Cathedral, the Orthodox church, squares, and many beautiful stories. During the free time given in this city, if the season and weather are suitable, you can climb up the stairs to the chapel at the very top of the walls and take magnificent scenic photos, follow the scents in the narrow streets of the city to taste different and wonderful dishes, enjoy a drink in one of the squares, or visit the Cat Museum, one of the most interesting museums in the city. After the free time, we depart from Kotor, first crossing from Montenegro to Croatia, arriving in Dubrovnik, one of the most popular holiday resorts in recent years, used as a filming set for popular series like Game of Thrones, and historically significant due to its relations with the Ottoman Empire. During our walking tour inside the castle, some of the sights we will see include Pile Gate, Ploce Gate, Onorphius Fountain, the world's first pharmacy, Franciscan Monastery, Orlando Statue, Sponza Palace, and Rector's Palace. After this enjoyable tour in this medieval-scented city, during the free time, you can explore the side streets of the city, shop in stores, taste seafood, or enjoy a pleasant coffee while watching the sea or the medieval streets. After the free time, we leave Dubrovnik, first passing through Bosnia and Herzegovina, and transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Day 6: Medjugorje – Pocitelj – Mostar – Sarajevo

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we first reach Pocitelj, a command village that has survived from the Ottoman era to the present day. Here, after seeing the Ottoman houses, hamam, mosque and old cobblestone streets, sipping our Turkish tea and Bosnian coffee, we leave the village. Our next stop is Mostar, one of the most important cities in the region, famous for its bridge which was destroyed by Croatian artillery fire during the Bosnian War in our recent history and later rebuilt with contributions from the Republic of Turkey, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Its narrow and authentic streets dating back to the Ottoman period will take you to a completely different world. During our tour here, some of the sights we will see include the Mostar Bridge, Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, the Catholic Cathedral, the Turkish Consulate and the Martyrs' Cemetery. On a lucky day, we may also see the young people who jump from the bridge as a show, a tradition with roots going back to ancient times. After our tour, during the free time provided, you can buy souvenirs unique to Mostar or enjoy a nice meal break. After the free time, we will meet our vehicle at the time and place given by our guide and continue our journey towards Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon arrival, we begin exploring the city center on foot. During our walking tour, some of the sights we will see are the sebil (fountain) which is the symbol of the city, Gazi Hüsrev Bey Madrasa, Gazi Hüsrev Bey Mosque, bedesten, clock tower, the diverse shops of Baş Çarşı, the Church of the Heart of Jesus, the Eternal Flame, Latin Bridge, and Fatih Mosque. After our walking tour, you can drink Bosnian coffee in cafes unique to Bosnia, indulge yourself with the magnificent Bosnian burek, or get lost in the streets of the city dating back to the European and Ottoman periods and explore the city. After our tour, we will have dinner in the city center, enjoying Bosnia's famous cevapi meatballs. After the meal, we transfer to our hotel by vehicle. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 7: Sarajevo – Belgrade

After having breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Belgrade. Through a pleasant journey continuing through the highlands and villages of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we cross the border gate located on the Drina River, a name familiar from books, and enter another country included in our program. After winding roads of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we reach Belgrade while enjoying vast plains, villages, and magnificent views. The city tour of Belgrade, one of Europe's oldest cities and a new symbol of liveliness and activity, begins. Among the places to be visited on our tour are the Old Palace, adorned with magnificent carved ceilings from the Turkish era; Belgrade Fortress, an Ottoman naval supply center where Sultan Mehmed II was wounded but the conquest was achieved under Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers; Kale Square; Tašmajdan Park; Military Museum; the tomb of Martyr Ali Pasha; and Bayrakli Mosque. After the free time provided by our guide, we transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Day 8: BELGRADE – SOFIA – ISTANBUL

After having breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Sofia. Upon arrival in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, we begin our panoramic city tour. During this tour, some of the places we will see include Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the second largest Orthodox church in the Balkans, the Russian Church, St. Sophia Church, Rotunda Church, the Archaeology Museum, the Presidential Palace, the Prime Minister's Office, and the Banya Bashi Mosque. After the panoramic tour and a period of free time, we depart from Sofia and continue our journey towards the border crossing. Arriving at Kapıkule Border Gate, after completing passport and customs procedures, we take the highway back to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul, we drop off our valued guests at their designated points and bid farewell, looking forward to seeing you again on our next tour.
