IMPORTANT NOTES

• To benefit from the Advantageous Trip package prices on extra tours, the fee must be paid to the local agency representative during the tour.
• Extra tours take place with a minimum participation of 15 people. If participation is below 15 people, the tour prices may change or the tour may be conducted by metro. Our guide may change the dates of the extra tours, provided that the content remains the same.
• Prices for extra tours may change depending on regional density or the period. The prices quoted by the guide at the time of purchase will apply to extra tours.
• When only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying a name and/or when there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the excursion departure.
• In our programs, the guide will meet you at the destination. The guiding service included in the package covers only the panoramic city tour and round-trip airport transfers. If extra tours are purchased, guiding services will also be provided. A different guide may accompany guests during extra tours.
• Guests must inform the guide of extra tour cancellations or changes at least 24 hours in advance. The cancellation and refund conditions of the extra tour requested for cancellation may vary depending on the local supplier’s final decision.
• During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances exceeding the specified kilometers. In such cases, Holitera Turizm will provide information 2 days before the tour departure date.
• The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting a maximum of 2–3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically with guide narration from inside the vehicle; they do not include museum or archaeological site entrance fees. 
• Holitera Turizm is not responsible if panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program cannot take place because local authorities close the places to be visited on the scheduled day and time, roads along the route are closed due to an event, or weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot, where possible, at locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
• In our tour programs, the guide meets guests at the arrival airport. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pickup time provided by the guide.
• The hotels listed in the program are offered for sale as such. Hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods. Therefore, a similar alternative hotel may be provided.
• To prevent guests from being affected by exchange-rate differences, we recommend that they do not exchange large amounts of foreign currency. Old/worn foreign currency is not accepted by banks in the destinations. Therefore, extra tour reservations cannot be made using old-style foreign currency that banks will not accept.
• As our package tours are intended for travel abroad, guests are responsible for their own foreign-language knowledge.

GENERAL TERMS

• Guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passports if the date of issue is more than 10 years ago. Otherwise, they may not be admitted to the country they are visiting and/or their flights may not be operated by the airline from Turkey. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger, and Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible in any way.
• To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports, such passports must be renewed, and if the country applies visa requirements to Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
• Guest passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the return flight date. Otherwise, any resulting issue is the guests’ responsibility.                    
• Holitera Turizm acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right not to issue a visa when deemed necessary, and Holitera Turizm bears no responsibility if the passenger cannot obtain a visa. Holitera Turizm only undertakes the role of an intermediary. Holitera Turizm has no obligation or responsibility regarding individual visa applications. Consumers have registered for the tour by accepting these conditions.
• For passengers who will apply for their own visas, obtaining the necessary documents (hotel confirmation, flight ticket, etc.) normally takes 1 business day. Guests must arrange their appointment dates and times accordingly. Otherwise, Holitera Turizm is not responsible for any possible delays or problems.
• If the guest cancels their reservation and/or does not or cannot participate in the relevant tour, the visa fee and service fee will not be refunded. If the guest obtained their visa and visa service through the Holitera Turizm Visa Department and this visa service is specified as an additional service in the travel agreement, and Holitera Turizm cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, the guest may receive a refund of the amount remaining after the consular fees and similar amounts paid for the visa, provided that they submit their passport proving that they did not use the visa within 1 week at the latest after the visa expiry date. If the guest obtained their visa through their own means and/or with the assistance of a different visa intermediary and Holitera Turizm cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, no refund will be made to the guest.
• Routes may change depending on the city where the aircraft lands. The aircraft type and flight time may change, and this has been communicated at the time of signing the agreement; THE PASSENGER HAS PURCHASED THE TOUR BY ACCEPTING THE RISK OF FLIGHT TIME CHANGES.
• Triple rooms are provided according to hotel availability. Triple rooms include an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed. A guarantee of three separate beds cannot be provided in triple rooms; if the hotel has a suitable room, the hotel will block it subject to availability.
• Child discounts are valid only for children staying with 2 adults.
• The breakfast served at the hotels is continental breakfast, not Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee, and fruit juice.
• Group breakfasts may be served in a separate room.
• During reservation/registration, the first name and surname as shown on the passport to be used for travel, date of birth, and passport number must be provided and entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for cancellation or changes to flight tickets resulting from incorrect information are the guest’s responsibility.
• Whether obtained from Holitera Turizm or not, our guests are required to have overseas travel and health insurance beginning one day before the tour date and ending one day after the tour date, and must carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests who do not carry their travel insurance may be fined by the police of the relevant country. If such a fine is incurred because the guest did not carry their travel insurance, responsibility belongs to the guest.
• Due to diplomatic relations between countries, having entered or exited certain countries may result in being unable to obtain a visa for another country or multiple countries or being unable to enter through a border gate. As this is outside Holitera Turizm’ control, the parties acknowledge that Holitera Turizm bears no responsibility in such cases.
• Guests who do not wish to participate in tours conducted along the route for the economic and time benefit of the group agree to wait for the group at a nearby facility until the extra excursion ends. At the end of the excursion, our bus will pick up these guests and the tour will continue.
• Panoramic city tours are excursions organized to introduce the cities. City tours and extra excursions may be organized on different days or may not take place due to weather conditions, provided that their content does not change. In such cases, Holitera Turizm is obliged to offer our valued guests the most suitable alternative possible. Extra tours are organized subject to a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, extra tours may not take place or the price may change.
• Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not take place. Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible if these excursions or tours cannot be conducted.
• The aircraft seats in our programs are group seats, and flights are arranged as a single round-trip ticket. If the outbound flight is missed and/or not used, the return flight may also be automatically forfeited. The airline’s rules apply in such cases.
• Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur during flights are displayed on information boards/screens at airports. These details must be followed by the passengers themselves. If a flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the guest must purchase and pay for a new ticket themselves (if necessary, as a round-trip ticket according to the previous clause). They may also partially or completely miss the first day’s program because they missed the group’s departure; responsibility in this case belongs to the guest. Furthermore, if they travel to the relevant city/country on a different flight from the group, the airport-city or airport-hotel transfer is the guest’s responsibility.
• Guests wishing to upgrade their flight tickets using miles may do so only after the tickets have been issued and subject to availability on the relevant flight of the airline. Since the aircraft seats in our programs are in the group class, if availability permits an upgrade, it may be necessary to pay the difference specified by the airline and move the ticket from the group class to an economy class eligible for upgrade. Any resulting price difference is the guest’s responsibility. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the tour departure. 
• To use your mobile phones abroad, you must check with your GSM operator before leaving Turkey whether your line is open for international calls and roaming. 
• During your travel, when leaving the transportation vehicles you use or the hotels where you stay, whether temporarily or permanently, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings. 
• Holitera Turizm may change the order of cities in the program and/or the airline to be used without altering the content of the program in cases of force majeure or when deemed necessary.
• Holitera Turizm reserves the right to change hotel names, provided that the category remains the same.
• Holitera Turizm is not responsible for items forgotten, lost, or stolen during the tour.
• Children under 18 traveling with their mother must obtain a letter of consent from their father; those traveling with their father must obtain one from their mother; and those traveling with a third person must obtain one from both their mother and father. Holitera Turizm cannot be held responsible if the flight cannot take place due to the absence of a letter of consent.
• The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
