Day 1 Istanbul – Barcelona
Meeting with our valued guests 3 hours prior to departure at the Turkish Airlines counter in the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we fly to Barcelona on the Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Upon arrival, we begin a panoramic city tour. The second largest city in Spain, capital of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia and home to the magnificent works of the famous architect Antoni Gaudi, attracts four times its population in tourists due to these masterpieces. Among the places to visit are La Sagrada Familia, also known as the "Unfinished Church", Spain Square, Gaudi's Houses (Casa Batllo and Casa Mila), Catalunya Square, La Rambla Street, and Port Olimpic. After the city tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 2 Barcelona
After breakfast, guests who wish may join the Girona & Figueras Tour (80 Euro), organized by our guide as an extra. Our tour begins with Girona, the richest city in the region, built on the banks of the Onyar River and reminiscent of Florence at first glance. Girona is a charming medieval city worth seeing with its narrow streets and cathedral. It is also the city where the movie Perfume was filmed. During our panoramic tour, we will see the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, houses with mezuzahs, the Jewish Quarter, Rambla, and its famous shops. After free time, we set off towards the city of Figueras with views of the Pyrenees mountains. The town has such an impressive atmosphere that it served as a lifelong source of inspiration for the boundary-defying painter Salvador Dali, admired by the whole world. Here, we will visit the museum house decorated by the famous surrealist painter "Salvador Dali" himself. In this museum, where each work is valued at millions of dollars, we will visit the place where he immortalized his love Gala and created his mind-bending works, before transferring back to our hotel. Guests who wish can join the evening Gothic Quarter and Tapas Tour (60 €). Overnight at our hotel.
Day 3 Barcelona – Madrid
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Madrid via our private bus. Along the way, guests who wish may join the Zaragoza Tour (30 Euro), organized by our guide as an extra. Among the places to visit on our tour are the Ebro River, Pilar Cathedral (the city's central cathedral), La Seo Cathedral, San Pablo Church, Plaza Espana, and Pilar Bridge. After the tour, we continue our journey towards Madrid. Our panoramic city tour begins with the large square known as Plaza Mayor. This square features 136 buildings with 437 balconies opening onto courtyards. Historically, bullfights and people burned by the Inquisition were watched from these balconies. Among the places to visit are the heart of the city, Puerta Del Sol, the large square called Plaza Mayor, Plaza De Orient (where the Royal Palace addresses the public), Alcala Gate (built as an entrance gate to show how rich the city is), Gran Via with its galleryed roofs that dazzle the eye, Plaza Colon, Cibeles Square and Fountain, and the Monument to Cervantes. After our tour, we return to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 4 Madrid
After breakfast at the hotel, there is free time. Guests who wish may join the Toledo Tour (70 Euro), organized as an extra. Toledo is a real open-air museum and the former capital of Spain; it is one of the most important cities on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The country's most majestic cathedral, hosting works by world-famous painters, has become comparable to some of the world's top museums. Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has managed to remain unchanged from the 16th century to the present day. Buildings carrying traces of Roman, Visigothic, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, El Greco's paintings, typical bakeries, Damascino shops, and of course the famous cathedral make it a tourist crossroads. Another tradition in Toledo is almond paste production, dating back to when the Arabs conquered the city. A visit to Toledo is not complete without tasting this mouth-watering sweet. After walking through the Jewish quarter, we head back to Madrid. Guests who wish to spend the evening in a fun atmosphere may join the dinner Flamenko Night (85 Euro), organized as an extra. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 5 Madrid – Istanbul
After breakfast, depending on the flight time, there is free time. For interested guests, there is a Las Rozas Outlet Tour (40 €). Then, transfer to Madrid Airport. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul on the Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Arrival in Istanbul at local time and the end of our tour.
